About Mr. Lim A cornerstone of GC Music Academy since 1998, Mr. Lim brings over two decades of dedicated teaching, performance, and commercial composition experience to his students. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and has spent more than 20 years guiding musicians of all ages across the Klang Valley.

In addition to his work at the academy, Mr. Lim serves as the lead instructor for the Guitar Society at Confucian Private Secondary School, helping young musicians build ensemble skills, discipline, and a deep appreciation for music.

Professional Composition & Performance Credentials Mr. Lim’s deep understanding of music theory and arrangement comes from years of high-level industry production and orchestral performance:

Media Composer & Producer: Composed and produced official broadcast music packages for national television, including RTM Mandarin News (CNY Special), Berita Nasional, Info Sukan, Niaga, Berita Parlimen, Tamil News, and English News programs, as well as short film scores for eHomemakers.

Orchestral Performance: An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Mr. Lim has performed as a flutist with the Sinfonia Orchestra and served as 2nd desk flutist for the University Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, alongside singing tenor in the Conservatoire Choir.
