Student concerts and showcases
Students perform on a real stage with sound and lights, solo or with a band. For many it is the goal that turns practice into a daily habit, and family and friends come to watch.
Lessons lead to the stage. Through the year students perform at concerts and showcases, learn from working musicians at workshops, and play together in bands.

The countdown is on! 🎶 Sound of GC VII is happening on 14 & 15 November! Join us for two days of music, live performances, band jamming and interactive booths, food and beverage as we celebrate the passion and progress of our students and teachers. Come be part of the celebration!

Students perform on a real stage with sound and lights, solo or with a band. For many it is the goal that turns practice into a daily habit, and family and friends come to watch.

Sessions with working musicians: technique, tone and the stories behind the music. A chance to watch a professional up close, ask questions and play.

Students who play different instruments rehearse together as a band, learn to listen and keep time with each other, and make friends who share the same passion.
Students who want a challenge can enter music competitions, with their teacher helping them choose pieces and prepare.

A new partnership between RSL Awards (Rockschool) and ACM, the Academy of Contemporary Music in the UK, lets students with Rockschool Grade 6 or above apply to ACM without an audition. Many of our teachers use the Rockschool syllabus; ask your teacher whether it suits your goals.
