Graded exams, if you want them
Your teacher prepares you and the office handles registration. Plenty of students skip exams and simply learn the songs they love.

What age can my child start violin lessons?
Most children start from age 5, and we also teach adults who are picking up an instrument for the first time. Lessons are one-to-one, so the pace is set by the student.
Do I need my own violin?
Bring your own violin, or ask us about one for lessons. Owning an instrument helps you practise at home between lessons.
Can I take graded exams in violin?
Yes. ABRSM offers violin grades. Trinity College London offers violin grades. Your teacher prepares you and the office handles registration. Exams are optional.
Who teaches violin at GC Music Academy?
Sarah, Yie Mei, Ms Chong and Huan teach violin at our TTDI and 1 Utama branches. You can ask for a particular teacher in the enrolment form.
Where are the lessons?
At our two branches: TTDI (14B, Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, Taman Tun Dr Ismail) and 1 Utama (Lot S303C, 2nd Floor, New Wing, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya).
How do I enrol?
Fill in the enrolment form at portal.gc-musicacademy.com/enrolment/register. Our office will contact you, usually on WhatsApp, with a teacher, a weekly lesson time and the fees.
