Common questions about trombone lessons
Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp.
What age can my child start trombone lessons?
Most children start from age 5, and we also teach adults who are picking up an instrument for the first time. Lessons are one-to-one, so the pace is set by the student.
Do I need my own trombone?
Bring your own trombone, or ask us about one for lessons. Owning an instrument helps you practise at home between lessons.
Can I take graded exams in trombone?
Yes. ABRSM offers trombone grades. Trinity College London offers trombone grades. Your teacher prepares you and the office handles registration. Exams are optional.
Who teaches trombone at GC Music Academy?
Hanif teaches trombone at our TTDI and 1 Utama branches. You can ask for a particular teacher in the enrolment form.
Where are the lessons?
At our two branches: TTDI (14B, Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, Taman Tun Dr Ismail) and 1 Utama (Lot S303C, 2nd Floor, New Wing, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya).
